Kenyan telcos must contact subscribers for three months before recycling numbers
On 6 October 2026, the Communications Authority of Kenya told MPs that telcos must try to contact subscribers for three months, and publish a public notice, before recycling inactive numbers, Capital FM and The Star reported.
