Kenya's central bank lifts monthly bond target above KES 100 billion
The Central Bank of Kenya now aims to raise more than KES 100 billion a month from bonds this fiscal year, up from an average of KES 70 billion last year, Business Daily reported on 8 October 2026. The National Treasury is taking comments on its draft 2027 debt strategy until 20 October.
