Big 5 Construct Kenya, a construction trade show, will run from 21 to 23 October 2026 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, The Star reported on 7 October. The newspaper said companies from five countries, China, Egypt, Germany, Italy and Türkiye, will take part through country pavilions. The organiser is dmg events.

This is the ninth edition. More than 150 exhibitors from over 25 countries are expected, The Star and Capital FM reported on 7 October.

The Star put Kenya's construction project pipeline at US$26 billion, citing Construct Africa, and said Kenya accounts for 64.4 percent of identified construction projects in East Africa by value. It also reported that the construction sector grew 6.8 percent in 2025 after shrinking 0.7 percent in 2024, citing the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Economic Survey 2026. Capital FM carried the same pipeline and growth figures.

"Kenya's substantial project pipeline is creating demand for a broad range of products, expertise and specialist services," Josine Heijmans, senior vice president at dmg events, said, as quoted by The Star. She added that over the three days professionals would see solutions first-hand and exchange knowledge with peers.

The Star listed Liebherr, RIB Software, MC-Bauchemie, Ceramica Cleopatra and Silkcoat Paint Company among the international exhibitors. Kenyan firms named include Kohler East Africa, Henkel Kenya, Wood Products Kenya, Elite Tools, King Tiles and Neuce Paints.

The show covers 12 construction areas, among them building materials, concrete and cement, construction equipment, digital construction, HVAC systems, intelligent buildings and modular construction. It has a new feature, the Big 5 Impact Trail, which presents lower-impact building products.

The Big 5 Talks programme has more than 25 sessions on architecture, project management, technology, sustainability and contracting. According to The Star, speakers are expected from the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the National Construction Authority, the Architectural Association of Kenya and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers.

TV47 Digital reported on 7 October that entry is free for trade and industry professionals aged 21 and above. The organiser's website lists opening hours of 10am to 5pm each day.

The 2024 edition also had a China pavilion, according to the organiser's release for that show. It listed seven country pavilions: China, Egypt, Germany, India, Italy, Türkiye and the UAE.
